Great news, New Zealand. The country is Covid-free for the 18th day in a row. All restrictions have been lifted.
New normal
Amazing the number of cost-saving measures we have taught by the Covid-19 lockdown, which we use to ignore. We certainly can spend less, eat less, travel less, do more around the house, plant our own food, use available resources instead of buying stuff – the list goes on.
Exact number
It will be interesting to see if someone can come up with the exact number of PNG citizens laid off three months ago and remain unemployed today, how many family members had been affected since, and what they are doing to survive daily.
ATM help
This man in Goroka got a mob lynching when he tricked an elderly person trying to withdraw money at the ATM. It is a warning to people not familiar with how the ATM works and ask strangers for help, thus exposing their pin numbers and bank details. Dangerous practice.
