Hurting fan
Broncos fan is hurting badly and is not watching any more matches. Nine losses in a row is just too hard to accept. In tears.
New kid
There is a new kid in town – as far as internet service providers are concerned. Hopefully more competition will force service fees and prices down. Fingers crossed.
More competition
One mobile network charges K16 for 750mb for three days. The other charges only K6 for more – 1000mb – also for three days. Huge difference.
Wife control
It looks so romantic when you see a man holding his wife’s hand in a shopping mall. But he really is afraid to loosen the grip lest she enters the shops and start a shopping spree.
City walk
Everyone who took part in the Independence Day walk in Port Moresby yesterday were subjected to temperature checks and hand sanitising, told to wear face masks and observe social distancing. Covid-19 precautions.
Blind eye
Road traffic authority officers setting up a checkpoint at Erima in Port Moresby last Thursday were obviously turning a blind eye on the overloaded (more than 15 passengers) buses passing right before their eyes.
ATM service
Some ATMs give back your card first then your cash. Others give you the cash before the card. A few in a hurry forget the cash or the card.
Food for thought
When a bird is alive, it eats ants. When it dies, the ants eat it. A tree can make hundreds of matchsticks. But only one matchstick can burn a whole forest. Time and circumstances can change at any time. So be good, and do good.
