Paper towels
How many times have you come home only to discover you bought the wrong stuff from the supermarket? Colleague bought what he thought was a six-pack of toilet rolls. They were paper towels. Oops.

Gosh, it’s now only 52 days to Christmas. Where did all the months go?
Baby boom
Someone predicted during the Covid-19 state of emergency/lockdown in March that we should be expecting a baby boom nine months later – which is next month. Lockdown babies? Corona babies? SOE babies?
Best part
From a reader: The best part of 2020 for me is turning down every handshake.
Nobel Prize
It would be a colossal global achievement befitting a Nobel Prize at the very least if our scientists beat all their counterparts around the world to indeed come up with a Covid-19 vaccine.
Silent angel
A hospital nurse who took this picture said this old man was admitted for three days but no member of his family came to visit him. The only visitor was a pigeon which came and sat on his bed for a while then flew away. Later the nurse came to know that the old man used to sit on a bench at the park nearby and fed the pigeons every day. Amazing grace.
SOO dream
Maroons fans are hoping that their team can make the 2020 SOO series more exciting by winning at least one. Oh well, dreams are free.
