There is an expatriate charter flight from Port Moresby to Nadi in Fiji next week Jan 29 through Honiara and back arranged by a private firm. There won’t be another for quite a while, they say.

Various deities
Inter-faith services are organised on World Religion Day (yesterday) although we wonder what it can achieve. Muslims return to Prophet Muhammad, Hindus to Lord Rama, Bahaii and others to their ageless deities. Nothing changes.
Morata’s fame
Juventus star soccer forward Alvaro Morata has the same name as one of Port Moresby suburbs. No connection between the two has been found as yet.
