Hard to accept Cowboys fullback Valentine Holmes’ last-gasp field goal which resulted in the 19-18 win over the Broncos. So unfair, say the Broncos fans.
Smiling gods
The gods however were smiling on another Brisbane team, the Reds, which defeated the defending champions Brumbies 19-16 in the Super Rugby Australia final.
Too good
Canterbury Crusaders coach Scott Robertson celebrates his team’s fifth consecutive Super Rugby title win with an impromptu dance after they defeated the Chiefs 24-13 on Saturday. What a coach.
Long day
Miss Six, after watching the special breakfast and lunch the family prepared for her mother yesterday, plus the many gifts she received, asked: “Mum, is Mothers’ Day over now?”

Food for thought
