Free sugar
A major supermarket has been rewarding customers who have more than a K100 shopping bill with a small bag of white Australian-manufactured sugar. No explanation is given on the gift.
Deafening silence
Days have gone by without any official update from the corridors of power on where we are at as regards the Covid-19 pandemic. People need to know what’s happening.
No statistics
Amazing that more than a year after our first Covid-19 lockdown, no government authority has provided any figures on how many people lost their jobs, how many are living below the poverty line, and how many businesses have closed. Perhaps best to let sleeping dogs lie.
Blocked footpath
The nice new footpath along the road up the small hill near the 8Mile roundabout in Moresby North-East is now blocked by overgrown shrubs and weeds. It has been like that for months now. No one to clean it up.
Missed target

Food for thought
Respect people’s privacy. Do not ask them why they are still single, when they are going to have a baby, why they do not have a job or why they do not go out anymore. It’s none of your business.
