They throw empty plastic (yes, plastic) bottles, cans and refuse into the waterway without any care for the devastating effect on the environment. City Hall is also turning a blind eye.

Having a clean and pure heart is a blessing. You do not have to doubt your blessings when others do not value it enough. And remember they are not blessed like you. So they cannot, even if they wish for it.
