Savage image
This image has been creating a lot of debate on social media, with Queenslanders venting their anger at SOO1 star Jarome Luai for his “attitude”. A case of bad losers?
Boyd retires
NRL star Boyd Cordner, 29, is forced to retire after repeated concussions since joining the Sydney Roosters at just 16. Sad. Too young to retire!
Big forwards
Colleague believes that the PNG Hunters badly need at least two big strong forwards to drive them through the middle. Where can we find these big men in PNG?
Good timing
No school fees to be paid in government schools from next year. It is also general election year. Could be a coincidence.
Double standard
Missy Kwin and members of G7 nations had their picture taken near the sea in southern England standing meters apart. Later they were pictured mixing around freely with no social distancing. Mind-boggling.
One toilet
One popular watering hole in the middle of the capital city has only one toilet which is shared by all patrons. Not an uncommon sight to see men and women – after a few pints or a heavy meal – lining up outside.
Thought for today
People with purpose, goals and visions in life have no time for drama. They invest their energy in creativity, and focus on living a positive life.
Top quote
“With the Covid-19, many parents are struggling. (So) we have already made a decision (for the Government) to pay 100 percent tuition fees next year. Programmes in higher learning institution will still be run next year. We will try our very best to carry the load.” Prime Minister James Marape.
