Lame excuse
From a reader: Pity that some people are using God as the excuse not to take the Covid-19 vaccine. How do they know that God is not behind the vaccine, or any other medicine we have been using for that matter?

National Remembrance Day is when we commemorate the services of the armed forces during World War One, World War Two, plus peace-keeping and law and order engagements here and abroad. They deserve

Baker’s location
Everyone, police included, is involved in a guessing game as to the whereabouts of wanted criminal Tommy Baker. He has been on the run since 2016 and, as far as everyone is concerned, is somewhere.
Late friend
Colleague learnt yesterday that a good friend, who had had been sending him messages last week all of which he ignored, has passed away. He feels so bad now.
