Bad sign
The intra-provincial spat between the three MPs of New Ireland continues to simmer. The only victims are the people. The 2022 general election is a few months away, folks.
Woman leader
Great to see a woman become president of the Pangu Pati, one of the largest political parties in the country. Good for both women and voters.
Record slips by
Unlucky for Justin Olam and his Melbourne Storm team to miss out on record-breaking 20th consecutive NRL win. It is the second time this season the Eels have beaten the points-table leaders. Maybe next time Olam.
So silly
One moment of madness and Latrell Mitchell’s season is over, and with it, probably the Rabbitohs’ premiership hopes. So silly.
Don’t care
Expat scratched his head when the pharmacist nonchalantly told him that the “I don’t care” medicine was out of stock. He did not know that it is the name locals give to scabies.
Day’s agenda
Students and teachers of Boana High School in Nawaeb, Morobe used National Repentance Day last Thursday to raise funds for the primary school. Didn’t let the day go to waste.
So clean
Those who have been to Singapore know how clean the place is. Hardly any rubbish around. If only POM or Lae reach at least 25 per cent of that standard, it will be a huge achievement.
Food for thought
Psychology says it only takes a few seconds to hurt someone. But it can take years to repair the damage. So cherish the hearts that love you.
