Compo dilemma
People in a remote village in Western Highlands has to put up with the bad road conditions in the area for over nine months. And no, the Government is not to blame in this particular case. The smart folks have stopped contractors from working on the road until they are given some bucks. In the meantime they are still stuck with the bad road.
Protein pie
Students at a university were served steamed rice and pie for lunch. The intellects were told to remove the meat from the pie and pour it over the rice. That’s if they wanted to eat protein. Next menu please.
A pokey feeling
If you’re having a bad day, spare a thought for a woman in Arizona in the United States. She was riding her bike when all of a sudden she fell into a cactus bush. Thankfully her boyfriend was on hand to pluck out the spikes from her bruised body.
Sleep tight
The sleeping positions between a couple in bed shows the level of spice in the relationship – well that is according to a poll in the UK. The most popular sleep position according to the poll – adopted by 34 per cent of couples – is one known as ‘The Separation’; where partners will sleep facing each other with a space in between. While this can indicate couples in a secure relationship who don’t feel the need to show affection in their sleeping posture, it is also the most popular position when one partner is being unfaithful.
