Lady in house
Sit down everyone and pay attention. There is a lady in the house. In fact, she may joined by another soon. So all of you guys better start speaking and conducting yourselves like “gentlemen”. Welcome to the House, Governor Rufina Peter.
New regime
The Pangu-led coalition has more than enough members to form the next government. It should be confirmed today or tomorrow. Stay tuned.
Boys and men
The battle for the NRL top eight intensifies each weekend now. It is at the stage where we start separating the men from the boys, so to speak.
Painful to watch
Colleague was seen enjoying his first beer at his favourite watering hole on Friday, but suddenly left after they started replaying the Thursday night NRL game on the big screen. Just so painful to watch again.
Food for thought
Do not ignore family members. You must continue to talk to one another and stay connected. The day will come when you regret not doing so. It is called the funeral day.
Top quote
“We are ready to form the government. The number is here and there is no split in Pangu or in our coalition partners. We are set for the election of the speaker and prime minister after all our members of parliament are sworn in.” – Pangu Pati leader James Marape.
