Huge boost
A cause for celebration if indeed – as Morobe Governor Luther Wenge claims – the K18 billion Wafi-Golpu project moves closer to opening by the end of the year. What a tremendous boost to the economic, straight after the Pogera mine re-opening.
Soccer flashing
Nigeria’s superstar Asisat Oshoala, one of the Top 10 most-followed female footballers at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, has been flooded with offers of “love” and “marriage” by Nigerian (and non-Nigerian) men when she took off her shirt after scoring a goal in the 3-2 win over co-host Australia last week. She became the fifth female soccer superstar to display a sports bra that way. A good marketing move, though.
Lights out

Food for thought
