Recovery time
Ardent Broncos fan had planned to take a week off work this week to “recover”. But he was told to thank the Panthers for saving him the embarrassment of running around the compound naked, which he had promised his family, if the Broncos won the NRL grand final.
Party spoiler
Panther’s star Nathan Cleary spoiled what could have been a huge “wham-bam-thankyou-Mam” party after the scintillating trifecta of tries by Ezra in Sunday’s grand final match. Not funny, NC!
Crichton’s tries
Not many know that Panther’s center Stephen Crichton had scored a try in all three NRL grand finals his team had won. Disappointing for Panthers’ fans to see him leaving the club now.
Not rich
PNG should learn to fund multi-million Kina projects using its own money, and not relying on other countries, as was the case for the Nadzab Tomodachi International Airport in Morobe. We are supposed to be the richest black Christian country, aren’t we?
Jealous husbands
Jealous husbands regularly visiting their spouses at work should find something else to keep themselves occupied, such as finding a job, for starters.
Will Smith
Tourism folks should be beating drums and making noises about the visit by famous American actor Will Smith to the country. Lots of pictures of him viewing scenic spots – and his impressions – will be worth millions of kina in tourism promotion alone.
Food for thought
A bird sitting on a tree is never afraid of the branch breaking, because its trust is not in the branch but in its own wings. So, always believe in yourself, folks.
