Honeymoon over
Yes, all honeymoons have to come to an end. The power supply disruptions are back in Port Moresby, despite all the overwhelming assurances. Okay, we admit we spoke too soon.
Water too
Not only power supply but water supply disruptions too continue unabated. It even forced the early closure of Parliament yesterday.
Exiting issues
Potential investors know that the cost of doing business in PNG is relatively high. On top of that, power and water supplies are unreliable. Who are we kidding, again?
Tigers’ backline
West Tigers coach Benji Marshall is earnestly wooing Panthers’ five-eighth Jerome Luai, and if his plans succeed, we may see him lining up alongside Apisai Koroisau, Justin Olam and young fullback Jahream Bula.
Too busy
A media personnel with Team PNG was seen cheering for PNG against Samoa in basketball during the Pacific Games in Honiara yesterday. He told us on Monday that he was busy and did not have time to provide us the progress results of Team PNG. Now we know why.
Medical plea
After a drinking binge last weekend, someone posted this: “Those who don’t drink alcohol, please eat healthy and exercise. One day we will need your livers.”
Food for thought
Hard times are often blessings in disguise. Let go and let life strengthen you. No matter how much it hurts, hold your head up and keep going.
