That vote
If Parliament’s private business committee accepts in its meeting today the motion for a vote of no confidence filed by the Opposition, the Speaker is expected to put it to the vote next week. But what many are asking is what happens if the House rises on Friday, or any time before the vote is taken?
Same names
Flip the pages back to November 2020 and you will see that the key MPs behind the motion of no confidence then are again behind the current one.

Silly teacher

Food for thought
When one dies, people turn up at the haus krai or funeral service crying and begging the deceased to return. But when the deceased was alive, the same people kept their distance and ignored him.
Top quote
“It (massacre in Enga) was another dark moment in our nation’s history. As a former military officer, it seem to be a well-planned operation, whether it was an ambush, enemy tribes lying in wait or a full on assault with high-powered military weapons.” – Vanimo-Green MP Belden Namah
