Best to pressure US President Joe Biden to act on PNG’s NRL bid now before the Presidential election in November, in case he loses to Donald Trump. Just saying.
Getting hitched
Family members have warned their single 30-year-old relative still unable to fund his “right soul mate” that they are soon going to put his name in the classified section of the local newspaper under “available for marriage”. They have given him until June to get hitched.
Useful idiot
A useful idiot is described as an unwitting accomplice of people who work in favor of others without a clue of doing it. You have them around you everyday.
Advanced idiots
Some people are not using Artificial Intelligence (AI) for the right purpose to create certain images on social media. They should be referred to as the other version of AI – Advanced Idiots.
Biometric system
There is much talk about a biometric voting system for the 2027 General Election but it is easier said than done. India with its large population is able to use its system to carry out elections without glitches. But PNG, with our smaller population to India, cannot even get the basics right. For example, the NID cards which thousands have been waiting to get for years.
Food for thought
Every exit has an entry somewhere. Every end has a new beginning. Every black cloud has a silver lining. Never lose hope. Life means possibilities.
