Owls in the House
A group of owls is called a parliament because the ancient Greeks considered owls to be very wise birds. So does it mean that all MPs are supposed to be “wise”?
Easter in March
Easter this year falls in March. Easter has mostly been in April. Easter in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2025 are all in April. It has nothing to do with the leap year this year as 2020 was also a leap year. There must be a reason. Anyone?
That doppelganger
You come across examples of doppelgangers every now and then. They are “the person who looks spookily like you, or someone you know, but is not a twin”.
Cash galore

Power cut
On Wednesday night, Gerehu residents in Port Moresby experienced more than five blackouts within less than an hour. No kidding! It is actually how fires can start from faulty electrical appliances. Also, most of the emergency services toll free numbers do not work when you need them. Kind of defeats the purpose of having such a service, don’t you think?
Food for thought
Your time is precious. Make sure you spend it with the right people.
Top quote
“We should have put our people first before politics. That was why I crossed the floor (from the Opposition) to give confidence to, and work with the Government in addressing major issues in the country.” – Kandrian-Gloucester MP Joseph Lelang.
