Dolphins’ weekend
Two rugby league teams calling themselves the Dolphins caused “upsets” last weekend: One beat the favoured Parramatta Eels while the other from Redcliffe beat the PNG Hunters in Port Moresby on Saturday. Their cousins, the Sharks, were on top of the Cowboys yesterday.
Younger Cleary
Penrith is working on a long-term extension for Jett Cleary as they look to keep the younger brother of halfback Nathan and son of Coach Ivan out of the clutches of the Warriors. He must be better than Nathan.
Opened parcels
PNG Customs should investigate and explain to the people allegations that some parcels sent from overseas were opened and items removed from them. People are reportedly now hesitant to send items via mail to PNG. Maybe install CCTV in all rooms where packages are examined.
Biden and cannibals
US President Joe Biden has been receiving flak from all directions, including from PNG, after he said last week that his uncle Ambrose Finnegan could have been eaten by “cannibals” after his plane was shot down over New Guinea during World War Two. His (the uncle’s) remains were never recovered.
Test of patience

No money
Someone posted this: “There are two things I do not post on social media: money and partner. It’s not because I am matured, it’s because I don’t have both.”
Sisterly bond
It is said that a girl’s best friend is her sister who will stand by her through thick and thin. Brother? Not so much. Dad? Only when broke.
Food for thought
When you are grateful for what you have, you have everything you need.
