Evasive ministers
Northern Governor Gary Juffa told Prime Minister James Marape in Parliament that “many (of his Cabinet) ministers are very evasive and after being appointed ministers are hard to find and difficult to get hold of”. Juffa claimed “they don’t respond to simple texts and WhatsApp messages”. He promised Marape to send him the list of those ministers.

Dr Steven Winduo is right in wondering why many people, especially our young ones, have lost interest in reading. Gove are the days when one used to see people on buses, cars, trains, aircraft or sitting in park with a book in their hands. Today the book has been replaced by the mobile phone. Alas, how we have lost so much.
Secret admirers
Secret admirers of a local beauty queen gasped in disappointment when someone loudly announced in the office that she looked “pregnant” in a picture. But there was a huge sigh of relief when they were told it was only a joke. They then realised too late that their little kept secret was out.
