Commissioner welcomes new hi-tech system

POLICE Commissioner Gari Baki has welcomed the integrated criminal case system database
displayed at an exhibition yesterday, saying it would help police work.
The exhibition was hosted by the National Judicial Staff Services to show various databases and information technology infrastructure used by the National Court and Supreme Court.
Baki told The National that since it had the capacity to scan photos, fingerprints, and additional information on suspects and have them stored effectively, it was a big help to police work.
