Community needs water supply

Letters

THIS year marks 11 years of zero water supply for Morata Four with a population of more than 7,000.
Candidates during elections promise to address this problem but after elections, this part of the community is always neglected.
Massive infrastructure developments in the city should be reflected with proper basic services in communities.
No point boasting about building infrastructures that benefits 1,000 people for K2 million and leaving 7,000 plus suffering for a service that would cost less than K500,000.
Is funding an issue or mere ignorance?
Port Moresby North West Electoral Office and NCDC Governor’s Office please take note.
Advice your administration and bosses appropriately and priorities this important service right inside the city.
Morata four is a sub-urban area and deserve the same service as other Morata and NCD suburbs.
It hurts to continue airing this concern just to have it fall on deaf ears. We are human beings and deserve the right to basic water supply.
