CITY Pharmacy Ltd (CPL), in partnership with Ebos Group Ltd, will now provide medical and laboratory supplies in the country.
Chief executive officer Navin Raju said as part of a distribution agreement, CPL would service all existing customers of Ebos with equipment supplies.
Raju said Ebos healthcare had been supplying public and private hospitals, day service, general practice and specialist clinics in the country for more than 20 years.
“They (Ebos) have a rich legacy with its customers through excellent customer service, quality and after-sale service support,” he said.
“With over 35,000 products in more than 1,000 global suppliers and offices in 10 locations in Australasia, Ebos with the new partnership with CPL is now well placed to meet the ever changing needs of PNG’s healthcare environment.
“City Pharmacy is the largest pharmacy retail chain in PNG and has been strong in pharmaceuticals and with 35 outstation pharmacists across the region that is our strength.
“We will now be heading the supply of medical equipment and consumables range.
“With CPL’s extensive reach established distribution network and presence in the country, we envisage to provide the same level of after sales service that Ebos has provide in the past.”
Raju said training and after sales service were important and as part of any ongoing operations of medical equipment and CPL’s in-house capability with biomedical technicians, (it) will be able to provide complete support in terms of installation, after-sale services, spare parts, replacement and training.
“Our technicians are based in PNG and therefore reduces the lead time for any after-sales service requirement,” he said.
