Company, foundation taking steps to fight coronavirus

THE Brian Bell Group and Sir Brian Bell Foundation is still doing its part in disseminating Covid-19 awareness to the public.
Chief executive Cameron Mackellar, said in Port Moresby yesterday when announcing the release of its Mother’s Day catalogue, that Covid-19 awareness had been the focus over the last eight weeks.
Mackellar said that the shop would also issue its Mother’s Day catalogue for the day, May 10.
The catalogue would be available at its Homecentres.
“For over 62 years, the Brian Bell Group has celebrated many great milestones as an organisation and additionally been part of many national disasters where we have stepped into a leading role to support the communities of PNG,” he said.
“The Brian Bell Group, together with the Sir Brian Bell Foundation, has moved quickly and effectively to commence the sharing of vital health information.
“Using our extensive media reach, this information has been disseminating through daily newspapers and heavy amounts of social media to communicate clear and factual information on how to protect our communities from Covid-19.”
He said the group and the Sir Brian Bell Foundation had activated additional support including medical supplies and essential products for emergency operations.
