Conduct an audit

THE Legal Training Institute like any other government department is subjected to the requirements of the Public Service Management Act, General Orders, Public Finance Management Act and other Rules of the Public Service.
There have been instances when concerns were raised by some senior officers regarding appropriation of budget allocated funds, procurement of goods and services in breach of PFMA and abuse of PSMA, General Orders and rules of the Public Service.
The human resources division has been in a mess. Systems and processes of the Public Service have often been ignored in all aspects of HR management.
The Department of Personnel Management should be called on to conduct an audit of the HR section.
