Conference a waste of money

 I TOTALLY disagree with the Oct 11 report regarding a secretaries conference in Kokopo recently. What a waste of taxpayers’ money to fund such trips when public services are far from good. I see such a trip as a leisure trip with nothing to gain from. To the organisers; is it worth providing such training and paying them allowances when the money could have been put to better use?
