Control noise in PMV buses

Letters

PUBLIC motor vehicle users miss important calls because the radio in buses are loud most of the time. Most passengers in a PMV bus have business to do and most of them rely heavily on phone conversations. But you have to deal with loud noises from the radio. I do not think that is fair. Some passengers prefer reading the paper on the bus but that is not really possible with the radio on so loud.  At times, I see students reading their notes on the bus. People need an environment free of noises so that they can plan their trips and execute their daily tasks as they travel. I ask the drivers and crews of PMVs to think about that. Can the relevant authorities do something about this?
