Cops to get guns back

GUNS will be reissued to Madang police after a stock take, provincial police commander Chief Inspector Ben Neneo says.
Neneo made the comment to clear any confusion over his reasons for removing guns from his officers.
“I did not disarm the officers, the right word to use is remove,” he said.
Police personnel in Madang were reported to have handed in their guns to the armoury by 4pm on Wednesday.
Neneo said he made that decision as the provincial police commander.
