CORPORATE Touch Port Moresby has elected new executives to lead the competition in the 2016 season and beyond.

Affiliate clubs have elected Dr Barrow Kirupana as the new president of CTPM after John Bonot was elevated to vice-president of Touch Football PNG with his deputy Dadi Toka Junior as the head and Moro Kasisie the secretary.

The senior vice president is Kevin Luana, junior vice Ken Pepena, secretary Connie Alova and treasurer Magaru Riva.

Local businessman and veteran Ray Alova was appointed the patron for his distinguished services in the association and touch in Port Moresby.

Also appointed were technical director Gill Robinson to manage the referees and coaching. Tournament director is Graham Ivosa who will manage all tournaments in PNG and abroad.

The match committee coordinator is John Vetu to be assisted by Grace Kouba including a representative each from clubs.

Newly elected president Dr Kirupana said after two weeks of pre-season, 11 teams participated with two new teams – Datafix Ltd and Post-Courier. 

Two junior teams from Bank South Pacific and Transport have also joined the competition.

He said the CTPM competition would be now played at Bisini oval and not Murray Barracks as in the past.

The newly elected president extended his gratitude to former president Bonot, his deputy Toka Junior and Kasisie for their tireless input to drive CTPM this far.
