Counting continues

The national general election in the country is heading towards the second week of counting with two People’s National Congress Party candidates declared as winners.
Tari-Pori in Hela has declared James Marape as the winner on Sunday.
Marape polled 30,192 to win.
In the National Capital District, counting for Moresby-South ended on Tuesday morning, with Justin Tkatchenko, finishing ahead of 14 other candidates.
He was declared as the winner yesterday.
Tkatchenko polled 19,926 to win.
Prime Minister Peter O’Neill congratulated Marape and Tkatchenko  on  their reelection.
Meanwhile, some provinces have commenced counting while others have yet to  commence.
