Couple in Lae recalls marriage vows

WHILE the majority of people were remembering the World War II heroes on Saturday, a couple  invited friends and relatives to a small function to remember the vows they exchanged in 2005.

Gordon Todd was busy last week secretly planning a party to celebrate his and wife Sarah’s sixth wedding anniversary. 

The two got married on July 23, 2005, coinciding with the Remembrance Day.

Around 30 close friends and family members attended the gathering and celebrated with the couple and daughter Adasha in Lae. 

The Todds were reminded that marriage was the first and most important institution created by God and they were encouraged to grow in their Christian faith.
