Court to rule on K1mil heist case

NATIONAL Court acting Judge Tracy Ganaii in Waigani has reserved ruling on three policemen who allegedly raided and robbed K1 million worth of goods from a shop in Port Moresby in April 2018.
“I am yet to prepare a ruling so this case is adjourned to Wednesday July 27,” she said.
In the dock are Tony Kama, 42, from Eastern Highlands’ Kainantu, Nelson Sapul, 24, from Southern Highlands’ Mendi, and Stanley Tembon from Anglimp-South Waghi, Jiwaka.
The three policemen were among more than 20 others who allegedly raided the RMW Holdings Ltd White House Trading at 5-Mile and removed goods and items worth more than K1 million.
Kama, Sapul and Tembon are charged with one count of armed robbery and one count of damaging property.
