THE Certified Practicing Accountants PNG (CPAPNG) has received K52,500 from BSP to host its annual series of conferences.

Financial reporting head Douna Vaname presented the sponsorship to CPAPNG executives recently.

“BSP is happy to continue this close relationship with CPA which began in 1995, when BSP signed

up to be gold sponsor,” Vaname said.

“The knowledge, skill and diligence of professional and talented accountants, cannot be understated, because they monitor the performance of a business and ensure that finances of the business are legitimate and accurate.

“BSP believes that this partnership supports the role of CPA in developing highly competent professionals in the bank and also in other corporate organisations.”

CPAPNG president Ken Ngangan thanked BSP for its commitment in helping develop the accounting profession.

He assured BSP that the sponsorship would go a long way in the true spirit of integral human capital development in PNG.

BSP said it was happy to support the activities of CPAPNG.
