CPL committed to continue supporting communities: Patel

THE City Pharmacy Ltd (CPL) Group remains committed to supporting the community through its foundation.
CPL Foundation chairman Sir Mahesh Patel said the foundation established educational programmes throughout PNG and helped fund financial literacy programmes in settlements in Port Moresby and Lae.
“More than 25,000 students of different ages graduated and benefitted from this programme to date and this will keep growing over the years,” he said.
Sir Mahesh said CPL Group customers shopping at Stop & Shop, City Pharmacy and Hardware Haus enabled funds to be used by the CPL Foundation.
He said through the foundation’s support for the Buk bilong Pikinini project at the Tatana village, CPL Group has assisted more than 1,000 children since 2015.
Sir Mahesh said the foundation had supported various schools across PNG and had been the major sponsor of the Pride of PNG for Women’s Empowerment programme.
CPL foundation, with City Pharmacy, have provided health support for charities and families facing tough times.
