CITY Pharmacy Ltd (CPL) Group will be helping the PNG Cancer Foundation (PNGCF) in its awareness and programmes, chief executive officer Navin Raju says.
CPL signed a memorandum of understanding with the foundation in Port Moresby yesterday to initiate a corporate partnership.
This will see PNG’s leading and largest retailer, its stores, shoppers, charitable foundation and staff members partake in the health foundation’s flagship programmes.
Raju said CPL was proud to support PNGCF as its work aligned to CPL’s vision of making a better and healthier PNG. “As we have an extensive network of stores and over K2 million shoppers across PNG, we will be able to provide capacity and avenues in supporting the foundation’s cause in educating and empowering the people of PNG to fight against the scourge of cancer,” he said.
“Our core business is built on food, health and well-being products and services.”
PNGCF executive manager Priscillar Napoleon said the partnership would foster a clear pathway for awareness and education.
