Credit Corp appoints Vagi to exec role

REI Vagi has been appointed the new group chief financial officer for Credit Corporation (PNG) Ltd effective March 7.
The company thanked Jeff Undah, who left on Feb 21 to pursue other opportunities, after being with Credit Corp for over three years.
Vagi has extensive experience as a financial controller and joins the company from Kina Securities Limited.
She was employed with PricewaterhouseCoopers, as a graduate accountant in 2007 and after six years, she left as an assistant manager.
She then joined the Kraft-Heinz PNG (formerly Hugo Canning Co Limited) as an accountant and later promoted to position of financial controller.
With a career that spans over 14 years and exposure over various aspects of financial services, Rei brings with her knowledge covering adherence to accounting and auditing standards to financial planning and cash flow management.
Rei is also versed in all aspects of regulatory compliance.
Credit Corporation chief executive officer Danny Robinson said they were pleased to welcome Vagi into the executive team at Credit Corporation and looked forward to her continued contribution to the financial services industry and her support to the recovery and expansion of the small-to-medium enterprise market in PNG and regionally.
