PORT Moresby Super League soccer challenge will see three crunch matches this Sunday at the Bisini Soccer grounds.
University, who are fourth on the ladder, will take on second-placed Mungkas in a grudge match.
University, after their impressive performance over POMSOE, will go into the game as favourites.
Mungkas are struggling to find  the right combination after the sudden loss of their key player Adrian Komu.
The return of old hands Steven Mali and Ben Lakasa will boost University’s performance as they did last week.
With the presence of Felix Bondaluk, Reginald Davani and Harold Demo at flank, the boys from Waigani should give Mungkas a good run for their money.
Midfielder Lam Vincent and Andrew Marampau hold the key for Mungkas in this weekend’s game.
Competition leaders Yamaros might have trouble playing Cosmos.
Despite missing skipper Joshua Niebo, senior players Gary Moka, Nathaniel Lepani, Abraham Enoch and Fabian Bagi will see them leading the their team.
Cosmos under coach Joe Turia has been playing some good football but need to lift their performance on the day.
At times, Cosmos are boring but when they play to their strengths in the mid-field, they can be a hard team to contain.
Third-placed PS Rutz will have a hard time over Spartans.
Rutz showed in last week’s performance that they need star Paul Komboi on the field if they are to be a threat.
as Ken Gule single handedly hand the game throughout the entire 90-minutes.
Gule will be seeking assistance from Richard Auram and Steven Mais to take on Spartans.
Spartans with their heavy weights in Lawrence Diau, Ravu Habuka, Roniel Igens, Michael Foster and Richard Pono, they should given the Sepik boys something to think about.
It should be an interesting game.
The competition ladder as of last weekend; Yamaros 33, Mungkas 30, PS Rutz 30, POM SOE 28, University 27, Spartans 24, Cosmos 23, Defence 14, Momase 10 and YMC 6.
In the women’s game, Guria should beat PS Ruts while Spartans to walk over Yamaros.
