CRUSADERS, Wanderers and Spartans are picking up the tempo in the Capital Rugby Union (CRU) sevens and look to be the main threat to favourites Aroma Coast at Monier Park in Port Moresby tomorrow.
The three clubs have been the regular top performers over the past two weekends and with the added fitness will provide another two days of exciting competition.
Crusaders are a new club that is pushing for inclusion into the CRU 15s season.
Wanderers have been unlucky in recent outings with experienced hand Richard Brendan and several former Spartans players better for the run after dropping out in consecutive Cup semi-finals.
Whilst Spartans who probably have the most balanced combination amongst have only themselves to blame for not putting away matches during their pool round last weekend.
Aroma Coast playmaker Madi Ora and Terence Uvau will again dominate and excel with their speed and fitness over the struggling CRU clubs, with their last hit-out before heading off to the Kimbe Invitational Sevens next weekend.
