Dabaris win riddled with errors: Solien

GULF Isou coach Bagelo Solien says their second win of the season against Kimbe Cutters was “ugly” as the round-six Digicel Cup match was riddled with errors.
“I’ll put it more as an ugly win from a mistake-riddled game,” he said.
“We dropped balls, missed tackles and we didn’t even aim up in defence.
“Obviously, a lot that we worked on during the week wasn’t implemented.
“We’re heading into the business end of the season and you’ve got to tighten up in all departments.
“Our pack really needs to step up.
“They were good in patches of the game, but they’re not quite there yet.
“You want an 80-minute performance from everyone.”
Solien criticised his men for their poor defence with an 11-man Cutters side (two in sin bin) managing to bag two tries against 12-man Isou (one in bin).
“I’m really filthy with that, they had 11 players we had 12 and they still managed to put two tries on us with a player less,” he said.
“It’s a coach’s nightmare and that why I wasn’t pleased enough with our defence.”
Meanwhile, Cutters coach Luke Samak said his side were rebuilding their combinations following the exit of halfback Josiah Jimmy.
