DARTS associations across the country must lift their standards and compete in more national tournaments, says federation president John Kuaru.
He said that following the National Capital District Darts Association’s (NCDDA) installation and launching of 10 dart cabinets and boards at Sports Inn last week.
Kuaru said improvements to the playing conditions and environment would motivate competitors to lift their game.
“NCDDA has set a new standard,” he said.
“Thanks to the dart cabinets and boards, the set-up is now organised and can cater for the number of teams on game day.”
But Kuaru said there was still room for improvement in all areas and challenged NCDDA to continue lifting its standards.
“I would like to see more activities like what NCDDA has been promoting,” he told other associations.
“I would like to see improvements in all areas of the sport, not just for the associations in the nation’s capital, but the whole country.”
