Datec launches new software product

 A 100 PER CENT software product that eliminates Information Technology complexities will be available at Datec stores soon.

The product known as Nutanix Xtreme was launched by Datec in Port Moresby yesterday. 

Officials from the public and private sectors were there to watch the demonstrations.  

Datec staff Annuncia Kokiai said the product converged storages in different  systems.

She said the new product was built with the same web scale technologies and the architectures which powered leading internet infrastructure such as Google, Facebook and Amazon.   

Department of Information and Communication secretary Paulias Korni congratulated Datec for introducing a new product into the IT market in Papua New Guinea.

“Today we are seeing the launching of yet another technology brought in by Datec and it will offer a wide range of choices,” Koni said.
