Days of numbers game gone

THE days of the number game is gone and today money does the talking in PNG Politics.  As witnessed in recent days Members of Opposition trying to put forward a vote of no -confidence against Prime Minister Peter O’Neill, did not eventuate as expected and speculated. In fact, many MP’s have supported this Government on the pretext of supporting a stable economy but I am convinced that the real power-play to keep all PNC members and government backbenchers intact could be money. As most in PNG politics would know today’s’ politics revolves around money. How much promised to individual MP’s for their loyalty to the current government is something that only those within the heart of government system know. I wish the Opposition MPs good for a successful vote of no confidence.
