Deal to boost payroll, HR system

 THE country’s public service payroll and human resource (HR) systems will receive a boost when two companies sign a new agreement this week.

Concept Group, formerly Concept Software, and Australasia firm – Talent2 are hoping for a partnership in providing payroll and HR solutions in the country.

Concept Group managing director Brendan Coombs said he was excited by the future opportunities.  “In partnership with Talent2 we can provide PNG clients with innovative payroll and HR solutions.”

Talent2 Group chief executive John Rawlinson said: “Talent2 is pleased to continue its partnership with the Concept Groupto provide payroll and Human Resource (HR) solutions to Papua New Guinea and other South Pacific countries.  

“The whole of the Papua New Guinea Government is our second biggest client and our relationship goes back over a decade.”

He said: “We provide accurate and efficient HR and Payroll services and look forward to working with the PNG Government to provide the next wave of innovative workforce automation tools.

“Our systems pay over 90,000 PNG Government employees every fortnight and there is a great opportunity to automate processes like leave and payslips through web self-service, time and attendance, recruitment, remuneration planning and HR processing.”

“There are also great benefits to be gained from better reporting and HR analytics.These tools drive efficiency and increase productivity.”

Rawlinson said “We are currently working with the Concept Group in PNG, the Solomons, Samoa, Tonga, Cambodia and Myanmar.  

The Alesco solution offered by Talent2 and Concept is used in over 30 countries and has PNG clients include the Government, Bank of Papua New Guinea, Trukai, Ok Tedi Mining, G4S, the Orion Group, National Airports Corporation, NCDC, Datec Samoa and more than 20 others.

Concept Group will open a new office in Port Moresby this week.
