PACIFIC Palms Property supported the 2019 NCDC Urban Planning Workshop recently held in Port Moresby to raise awareness on the work done by NCDC’s planning and regulatory division.
The event was used to consult the development industry on the new Urban Development Plan prepared by the National Capital District Commission (NCDC).
Pacific Palms Property, one of Papua New Guinea’s largest property developers, has urged other members of the Port Moresby property development industry to comment on the draft Port Moresby Urban Development Plan.
Pacific Palms Property project coordinator Hansley Gumbaketi said: “The draft Port Moresby Urban Development Plan is a unique opportunity for developers and those involved in the industry to contribute to how Port Moresby grows over the next decade.
“We need to engage it meaningfully, with NCDC.”
NCDC strategic planning manager Kemo Pepena-Guise thanked Pacific Palms Property for coming on board as major sponsors for the event as an example of meaningful engagement with NCDC.
“The Urban Development Plan cannot be delivered without the support of the private sector,” she said.
