Development a priority: Official

THE intellectual development of South Bougainville’s human resources remains South Bougainville MP Timothy Masiu’s priority, an official says.
In line with this aim, the district development authority board made significant investments, averaging K3 million annually, since Masiu was elected in the 2016 by-election and 2017 election.
This was revealed by Masiu’s executive officer Israel Pais at the Tonu Secondary School graduation on Wednesday.
Speaking on behalf of Masiu, Pais said every year, the district invested on average K3 million, mostly in infrastructural improvements such as building classrooms and staff houses.
Pais said the MP was committed to improving education standard.
