Development? Where?

Letters

IN response to Samson Wena’s statement expressing his views on the size and complexities of development in the country in reference to Prime Minister Peter O’Neill’s leadership, I really do not know which tangible development he is referring to.
The only tangible development I can see taking place is in Port Moresby.
Apart from all the provinces, Port Moresby is surely developing while the other provinces are deteriorating.
Kerowagi district in Chimbu might be developing like NCD, so Wena is raising his voice with pride.
The media gives freedom to everyone according to the Constitution, to have freedom of speech, but when we speak about something we need to provide evidence to support our argument.
We should not give an opinion that we cannot corroborate.
Also, there is a saying that before taking the dirt out of your brother’s eye, take the dirt out of your own eyes first.
If real tangible development is progressing swiftly in Kerowagi then Wena should express his opinion, otherwise it is all a joke.
