THE Mt Hagen Cultural show committee received K30,000 from Digicel last week as a commitment for the continuity of future shows.
Show manager John Bonny said he had visions to make the show more interesting and meaningful.
Bonny said that with the support from Digicel he will be looking at developing the show to help the young generation.
“We will make the event interesting,” he said.
“Culture is our pride and identity and my committee is looking at educating the people to adapt to their culture and tradition.”
Bonny said that with the support from Digicel and other business houses, he believed that Mt Hagen can put up better cultural shows.
Digicel Upper Highlands general manager Julian Briggs said the money was to help the people to make the show become meaningful in their lives.
