DIGICEL has a new and improved product service in which subscribers in Papua New Guinea can benefit from auto-renewal on all data and social plans, according to chief executive officer Maurice McCarthy.

“With the launch of *777#, we are thrilled to bring a vastly improved customer experience to the millions of Digicel subscribers who buy data and social plans. This service enables customers to stay on the plans with the most favourable rates,” McCarthy said.

He said customers only needed to remember the *777# to access this service.

“Customers now only need to remember *777# to purchase and manage prepaid data and social plans via a streamlined menu displayed in Tok Pisin and English,” he said.

“By expanding the auto-renewal to all data plans and providing limitless data roll over, our customers are able to effortlessly enjoy even more value on Digicel data.”

He said the auto renewal could be stopped.

“To stop auto renewal, customers simply dial *777# and then select auto renew on the main menu,” he said.

“Customers currently not subscribed to data or social plan will be charged the normal pay as you go rate of 49 toea per MB.

“Only the hour data plan does not auto- renew.

“Subscribers can easily opt out of all social and data plans via the main *777# menu.

“Additionally, all unused data will rollover to all renewed plan balances and customers can check their balance from the new streamlined menu.

“As long as subscribers remain on a plan, they keep their data and save money.”
