Head of Digicel Business Gary Cobain said the 25 recipients were all well-deserving.
“Every person who received an award on Saturday has gone the extra mile and been working hard to improve their professional skills,” Cobain said.
“It’s important to acknowledge staff performance and I am thrilled at how well-received the award recipients were by their colleagues.”
Digicel chief executive officer Brett Goschen and senior managers attended the event on November 26.
The awards included recognition for both achievement and effort and covered business areas such as Sales, Information Technology, and Corporate and Technical Support.
Employee Mathew Alois was recognised as the Outstanding SME Sales Executive, Corporate Sales.
“I am overwhelmed and thankful for the award and a few of my colleagues are saying that I truly deserved it,” Alois said
The Digicel Business Award was established as an incentive for staff to exceed client expectations and strive for excellence everyday.
