Digicel rewards 30 winners for data promo

DIGICEL has so far rewarded 30 winners of its Free Data for a Year promotion around the country.
The winners are from Port Moresby, Mt Hagen, Buka, Popondetta, Wewak, Kavieng, Daru, Alotau, Goroka, Kokopo, Chimbu and Kimbe.
They entered Digicel’s *777# promotion which was launched on September 21.
One winner is drawn every day to receive 2.5GB of free data monthly for a year.
One of them was Sam Joseph from Port Moresby who works as an electrician with DigiTech Papu a New Guinea.
Digicel’s retail director Lorna McPherson said it was great to see some of Digicel’s loyal customers rewarded for buying a plan.
“We encourage our customers to subscribe to our plans as it is more economical and allows them to select a plan that is most suited to their phone use and budget,” she said.
“These winners will love surfing the internet for free – thanks to Digicel.”
The promotion will end this month.
According to Digicel website, all winners will be notified of their prizes via a call.
Each month, winners will receive an SMS detailing the availability of their free 2.5GB account balance, including when they have reached 50 per cent of the data bundle, and when they have 100MB of their data bundle remaining.
The more plans customers buy; the more chances they have to win.
